DLE AGENCY EXPLODES INTO 2014
MAY 2014 -- The new year got off to an explosive start for the DLE Agency and our portfolio of global clientele.
In late January, we were in NYC for meetings, media and sponsor appearances surrounding the first cold-weather Super Bowl. We joined NFL client, Adam Carriker, in-studio with the FOX News Channel along with a variety of national radio spots, Nike VIP events, and the red carpet of the ESPN party.
Two weeks later, we crossed the Atlantic as three DLE clients represented Team USA at the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. Jordan Malone (Denton, TX) won a silver medal in the Men's 5000m Relay--a performance that secured not only Malone's Olympic legacy--on the heels of his bronze medal in the same event in 2010--but also provided the only U.S. speedskating medal at the Sochi Games. Nick Fairall (Andover, NH) and Tucker West (Ridgefield, CT) had breakthrough performances in what was an Olympic debut for each athlete.
In March, our Sochi athletes returned to DC for the official White House visit and while in town, they did a variety of television and radio interviews along with Congressional meetings and public appearances.
By the end of April, DLE managing partner, Doug Eldridge was a regular in-studio analyst for CNN and other cable news networks providing insight and analysis surrounding the legal, procedural, and public relations elements related to the Donald Sterling audio recordings. Throughout May, Eldridge remained a fixture on CNN, as the ensuing drama unfolded and the fate of the Clippers franchise came into question.
As we now approach the midpoint of 2014, DLE has won Olympic medals and placed our clients across top tier national media outlets, including the Today Show, Good Morning America, Fox News and CNN. We have closed new sponsorships, renegotiated existing contracts, and consistently expanded our client base--on both the Representation and Consultation sides of the agency.
We are proud of our aggressive start and committed to an unyielding pace and strong finish over the second half of the year. Stay tuned...
